Deborah M. Cofer affectionately called “Mama C” by many is a mother, grandmother and woman who wears many hats. She is the author of five self-published books, founder of SISTAH CHAT RADIO, LLC. She is a community advocate, women’s empowerment specialist, designer of wellness programs for women, emotional fitness trainer, member of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and the National Association For the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a mentor to women of all ages around the country and role model to many. Most recently she created EMBRACE THE VOW, a life-skills and enhancement program designed to inspire and encourage women to live their best life.
Prior to relocating to East Stroudsburg, PA in 2006, she was Director of the Women’s Health Education and Resource Network at North General Hospital in New York City, a program she designed, developed and delivered to the Harlem community, where she received numerous awards and recognition for her work, including the Susan B. Anthony Award from City Hall. She has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines, including the Pocono Record. Most recently she has been the recipient of the Pocono Film Festival’s Advocate For a Better America Award, the Monroe County Image Award’s Community Advocacy Award, The African-American Network’s Woman of Distinction Award for Sistah Chat and the Monroe County Image Award’s Media Excellence Award for Sistah Chat.
Deborah Cofer has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health from St. Joseph College in Brooklyn, New York and resides in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Sara l. Smith-Katz was born in a small town in upstate New York called Horseheads. After graduating High School in 1977, she became a trained jeweler. In search of new opportunities and feeling an intense desire to spread her wings and soar to new heights, she moved to Stroudsburg, PA, in 1989.
In 1991 Sara obtained her auctioneering license and in 2000 her Realtors license. Shortly, thereafter, she felt the urge to further pursue her education and entered Lafayette College where she went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude in 2007. She also received a MLA from the University of Pennsylvania. Sara is the recipient of the African-American Network’s Woman of Distinction Award for Sistah Chat and the Monroe County Image Award’s Media Excellence Award for Sistah Chat. In addition she received the 2016 Top Salesperson Award from BrokersRealty.com for their Stroudsburg office. Among her many talents is artist and print-maker which has afforded her the distinct honor of working with such noted artists as David Driskell, Mel Edwards, Faith Ringgold and Curlee Holton, to name a few. Sara joined Sistah Chat in 2014 as co-host on East Stroudsburg University’s 90.3 FM. She currently resides in Stroud Township with her youngest daughter Hannah, 18. She also has one adult daughter, Elizabeth Katz, who lives in Staten Island, NY

Holley Kearns is a mom, wife, daughter, sister, entrepreneur and consummate volunteer. Holley has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Moravian College. She is a native of Stroudsburg and has 25 years experience in sales and business management. Her humanitarian interests and dedication towards improving the quality of life for others is unwavering and undeniable by all those who know her.
With an extensive background in charitable works Holley continues to diligently work toward the enhancement and advancement of the Pocono community as a whole. She is a member of the Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs and is a past Chairperson of its Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees. She has also been the Chair of the annual Rotary Auction and is presently secretary for Boy Scout Troop 300. Holley has also held the position of Treasurer of Cub Scout Troop 300. She has functioned in the capacity of Treasurer of the Board of Women’s Resources and Vice Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association Foundation.
Holley lives in Stroudsburg with her husband and teenage son. They enjoy hiking, camping and traveling together.

Jennifer was born and raised in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Quakertown Area High School in 1990 and attended DeSales University, where she graduated Cum Laude with two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Jennifer is currently a resident of Roseto, Pennsylvania located in the Slate Belt Region with her daughter, Jasmine along with their two cats and pet skunk.
Jennifer is strong volunteer and advocate for those in need within our communities, even through her own struggle with Stage 4 metastatic cancer. Jennifer has 23 years of experience working for non-profits and large corporations within the fields of human resources, corporate compliance, public relations, marketing, business management, fundraising, event planning, and business consulting.
On behalf of those who triumph over adversity and help make communities a better place to work, live, and raise a family she has accepted the Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Women Outstanding Elected Official of the Year, Slate Belt Elected Official of the Year, Finalist for Slate Belt Volunteer of the Year, Lehigh Valley Happening Volunteer of the Year, Lehigh Valley Happening Government Official of the Year, Finalist for Lehigh Valley Happening Power Person of the Year, F.A.C.E.S. Volunteer Extraordinaire of the Year, Mayor of Roseto Merit Award, and a Monroe County Image Award for Civic Service.

Chanel Diane Fladger, also known as Chanel Diane is Production Assistant on Sistah Chat Radio, LLC, located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in New York City and the Pocono Mountains, Chanel always had a passion for radio. Obtaining a B.A. in Communications from Cheyney University (class of 2009), Chanel continued her passion for Radio production in earning an internship for WPHI Philadelphia’s 100.3 the Beat as an intern for Envy McKee for the Sunday Morning “Envy McKee Show” for 2 years. After the internship was over, Chanel started her own show entitled “It’s Real with Chanel Diane”, which showcased the recognition of up-and-coming artist on the rise.
Chanel continued her passion and hosted “The Cookies and Cream Show” with fellow co-host Penn Peroud. The show also emphasized the up and coming artist on the rise while discussing entertainment topics and world news. As a production assistant for Sistah Chat Radio, Chanel continues to exemplify the meaning of being a Sistah. It’s the ability to live your life through power, passion, and purpose
